​​ Our Elemental Being

​

The ETHER element is the essence

of space, our pure true being,

reaching out to the universe,

uniting, penetrating. In Ether,

through stillness, all elements are

fully expressed, One  Spirit

 

The AIR element moves zig zag, like

lightning, or a butterfly dancing

in the wind. It is the mind in action,

our breath, nervous system, and the ability

to laugh, love and be light.

 

The FIRE element flies upward, like

sparks in the hearth. It is the power to

manifest and digest both food and thought,

fueling our imagination and passion,

action, engagement and leadership.

 

The WATER element flows downward, deep

and seeks its level everywhere. It is expressed

in the pelvis, the fluids and glands of the body.

Bringer of life, emotional and nurturing,

grounding and dissolving

 

The EARTH element is a straight line or plane, the base of crystallization, stability and structure in the body. It is our sense of safety,

boundaries, stubborn and dense, the bones of our being.
