Wear comfortable, loose clothing suitable for exercise and unrestricted movement.

Please bring any recent medical reports or scans regarding the health concerns that you are seeking treatment for.

Clients experiencing acute flu or cold symptoms are asked to cancel and rebook their appointment.

Clients are encouraged to wear a mask if they have had exposure to those with acute illness, are recovering from an illness themselves, or as a preventive health precaution.

Please bring any x-rays, scans, medication lists or other relevant information to the treatment.

First Nation Discount

Elder Moon offers a discount to First Nations, Métis, and Inuit clients in gratitude to the First peoples and this land that we live and work on. We are all related. Please let Barbara know if you qualify for this discount.

Payment and Insurance Coverage

Payment can be made by cash or cheque or e-transfer.

Most healthcare insurance plans cover Manual Osteopathy and Massage Therapy. Craniosacral Therapy and my Trauma work are offered as an aspect of both Massage and Osteopathy.

Please contact your provider to verify your coverage and whether a referral from your physician is required.

Missed or Cancelled Appointments

Elder Moon requests 24hr notice for cancellations. Appointments missed or cancelled without adequate notice will result in a charge for the full appointment fee. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late you may be charged for a missed apportionment or offered a shorter treatment time with full fee.
